What is the role of a Corporate Event planner?

The Events industry is so diverse, with so many service providers including event management as one of the services they offer no wonder once you tell people that you are in the event planning business you get questions like “So you have tents and chairs?”.
Event planning and management has many times been reduced to managing the different services offered at the Event, like food, drinks, entertainment and others.

As an Event planner, my biggest role is to make my client’s dreams come true taking the dream from paper to the ground. This I will mainly do through developing concepts that will bring the client’s dreams to life and coming up with effective event plans that will ensure that we deliver seamless, stress-free events.

Most successful events have had well-crafted event plans, a successful event is really 90% planning and 10 % execution therefore, any Good event planner should focus 90% of their energy on the plan and 10% on actual ground management. One feeds off the other.
